I photograph surprise proposals across the Washington DC region including NoVa, Annapolis, and Baltimore. I can help with timing, location, and what happens after the proposal so you can focus on the moment.
How it works
1. Tell me the plan
Send me the date, general location, and what you’re picturing. If you do not have a location yet, that is completely fine. I can help you think through options based on scenery, privacy, lighting, crowds, and logistics.
2. We coordinate the details
We’ll talk through where the proposal will happen, the best time for lighting, where I’ll be positioned, and how I’ll know when the moment is about to happen. We can also discuss backup options for rain, crowds, delays, or last-minute changes.
3. I photograph the proposal discreetly
I’ll arrive early, set up any decorations you'd like, stay out of the way, and photograph the proposal as it happens. Your partner should experience the moment first, not the camera.
4. We take portraits afterward
After the proposal, I’ll introduce myself and guide you through relaxed couple portraits. These are great for sharing with family and friends, save-the-dates, wedding websites, announcements, or simply remembering the day.
5. you receive your photos
You will receive a handful of sneak peek photos within 24 hours, and the full edited gallery within one week. The photos may also be delivered sooner upon request.
