Hello!

I’m Seth, a photographer based in Crofton, Maryland. I specialize in proposals, engagements, and portraits for people who want photos that feel honest and unforced. I’m drawn to small gestures, real laughter, and the quiet moments in between.

Before your session, I do the groundwork scouting locations, checking the light, and planning backup options so you don’t have to stress the details. During the shoot, I give you enough guidance to feel comfortable, then step back so natural moments can unfold. Most of my clients start out saying they’re “awkward in photos” and end up surprised by how relaxed they feel.

Outside of photography, I work as an engineer. That background shows up in how I photograph: planning, timing, lighting, logistics, and details all matter.

My wife, Simone, joins me on most shoots and plays a huge role in keeping the atmosphere calm, comfortable, and fun—especially for women and anyone who feels nervous about being photographed. She offers a second perspective, an extra set of eyes on details, and a warm, grounding presence so you can just be yourself.

I’m based in Crofton and frequently photograph in Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and the surrounding areas. Whether it’s a hidden corner of a park or a busy city street, I’m always looking for light and spaces that feel like you.
